When a third-party platform (for example Shopify or the payment processor) processes data for its own purposes, it acts under its own privacy policy.
2. Data we process
Data you give us: identity, contact, account, orders, support, service materials and instructions, verification and marketing preferences. Data collected automatically: device, usage and cookies. Data we receive from platforms and payment processors. We do not receive your full card number.
3. What we use it for
Processing orders and providing the services, delivering what you bought, meeting accounting and tax obligations, measuring and improving quality, preventing fraud and abuse, sending you marketing when you allow it, and complying with the law.
4. Legal bases
Contract, legitimate interest, consent, legal obligation and vital interest, and the equivalent bases of Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and other applicable laws.
5. Cookies
We use necessary, preference, analytics and advertising or measurement cookies. You can manage them in the store's cookie notice; blocking some may affect how the store works.
6. Who we share it with
With hosting, payment, fraud-prevention and professional-advice providers; with the platforms you buy through; with authorities when the law requires it; and in corporate transactions. We do not sell your personal data. You can object to your data being shared for personalized advertising here.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country, with safeguards and access controls.
8. Retention and security
We keep data only as long as needed for the customer relationship, order records, tax and accounting obligations, defending disputes and legal compliance. After that it is deleted, anonymized or securely archived. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures; no system is completely secure.
9. Your rights (ARCO and others)
In Mexico you can exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition (ARCO), as well as revoke your consent or limit the use or disclosure of your data, under the terms of the law. Depending on your country you may also have rights under the GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA or US state laws. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
To exercise them, write to contact@olmteka.com with your name, your email, the order number if applicable and your request. We may ask you to verify your identity. We respond within the time limits set by law.
10. Automated decisions
We may use limited automated signals to detect fraud. Where the law provides for it, you can request human review.
11. Minors
The store is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect their data where the law prohibits it. If you believe a minor has given us their data, write to us and we will deal with it.
12. Changes
We may update this notice; the date above shows the version in force.
13. Language
The Mexicano version is the original and governing version; the others are translations.
